Philip Owens
Managing Director
Having previously led Professional Services across APAC at a leading Identity Security vendor, Phil knows first-hand what clients expect and how to convert that to strong outcomes. In founding a smaller, specialised Identity Security company in Assertiv, Phil has combined his deep industry experience with the ability to be agile and flexible, which sees our customers realise far more value from our services than alternatives in the market.
David Wann
CTO
A technology driven leader and software developer by trade, David comes from a background leading some of the largest and most complex Identity projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Including but not limited to complex IT & OT identity systems in utilities in Australia, through to national government education identity transformations in Singapore, organisations continually benefit from David’s decades of experience and low-level understanding of how software solutions tick.

Joanne brings a methodical and transparent approach to delivery in Assertiv. Since 2007, Daniel has committed himself to the Identity Security cause. His diverse role often exposes him to unique and challenging identity environments, where a combination of creativity and experience plays a role in successful outcomes. Whilst leading from the front, Daniel also mentors the next generation of Identity talent in Assertiv, providing opportunities for our team to challenge themselves whilst still having a support network to call on when needed.

Our Culture
Identity Security is a unique pillar of cybersecurity. It hasn’t always been considered part of the cyber “family”, but these days it’s absolutely central to any security strategy. Due to our diverse industry, we’ve had to be thoughtful in the way we attract and develop talent.
Asia-Pacific has had a consistent shortage of skilled Identity Security professionals. So Assertiv has developed an Education Pathway to develop local talent who can learn from the Senior leaders in the company. This isn’t a cake-walk either, we challenge our team to extend themselves outside their comfort zone in a supportive environment. Each member of the company typically plays a role in the development of Education Pathway participants.
